Undeniably, soon a new academic year is upon each and every one of us, fraught with its many uncertainties. University life in the UK can be a strange and overwhelming experience especially to international students. For some it will be a progression to the year above, for some to postgraduate education, while for others it will be the beginning of what will be the most formative years of their life. Unmistakably, challenges await all of us throughout our journey away from home.
Thus it is the role of the Sheffield Malaysian Students Association to play as the united front for the students in preparing themselves to face these tremendous challenges.
As one of the most active societies in the Union of Students, we aim to make your life in Sheffield more than just bringing home a good degree. We should all mobilize as a unit and take this as our chance for us to benefit ourselves and others not only from academic point of view, but from other perspectives as well. Hopefully this would be another step forward to greater success in the future insyaAllah.
